Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Production Engineer to optimize and analyze manufacturing processes from a distance. The role focuses on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring high-quality output through remote analysis and strategic implementation.

You will collaborate with on-site production teams, R&D, and supply chain partners to drive operational excellence and scale manufacturing globally from a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years as Production Engineer in manufacturing.
• Strong data analysis, SPC, MES/ERP proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data and identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency, yield, and quality.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions remotely.
• Research and recommend new technologies or methodologies to improve manufacturing operations.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for production processes, standards, and procedures.
• Support new product introductions by optimizing manufacturing processes for scalability and efficiency.
