Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Electrical Engineer with a focus on power distribution to join a global team. You will design, analyze, and plan electrical distribution systems for critical infrastructure projects, with an emphasis on reliability and efficiency.

The role supports projects for a diverse client base and offers a fully remote arrangement. Candidates should have 5+ years in power distribution, strong knowledge of MV/LV systems, and proficiency with CYME, ETAP or SKM

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems focus.
5+ years in electrical power distribution engineering.
Experience with power system analysis software and grid interconnection.

Responsibilities

Design and engineer electrical distribution systems, including substations, feeders, and network layouts.
Perform load flow studies, fault analysis, and protection coordination for distribution networks.
Specify electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, cables, and protection relays.
Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical codes, standards, and utility requirements.
Collaborate effectively with remote project teams, clients, and contractors.
Provide technical expertise and support during the construction, commissioning, and operational phases of distribution projects.
