Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Electrical Engineer with a Power Systems focus to join our fully remote team. You will design, analyze, and optimize complex power grids, supporting energy generation, transmission and distribution projects worldwide.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems), has 8+ years of experience, and is proficient with PSS/E, ETAP or PSCAD.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• 8+ years of experience in design, analysis and operation of electrical power systems.
• Proficiency with power system analysis software (PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD).
• Strong ability to work independently in a remote setting and communicate clearly.

• Design and model electrical power systems, including substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks.
• Perform load flow analyses, short-circuit studies, and transient stability simulations.
