Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power systems
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in electrical power distribution design
• Proficiency in power system analysis software (ETAP, PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory)
• Experience with CAD software for electrical design (AutoCAD)
• Deep understanding of electrical equipment, protection schemes, and grounding principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously remotely

Aufgaben

• Design and develop electrical power distribution systems, including single-line diagrams, schematics, and equipment specifications
• Perform load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies for distribution networks
• Select appropriate transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, cabling, and protection devices
• Ensure all designs comply with national and international electrical codes and standards (SANS, IEC, IEEE)
• Provide technical support during procurement, installation, and commissioning phases
• Conduct design reviews and quality checks to ensure integrity and reliability of power distribution solutions
