Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to drive sales across a virtual territory in South Africa. You will promote pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, and clinics, leveraging CRM tools and video conferencing to build relationships and close deals.

You will need a strong track record in pharma sales, excellent virtual presentation skills, and the ability to work autonomously from a home office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in pharmaceutical sales, with 3–5 years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and achieve sales targets in a remote capacity.
• Excellent virtual presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales quotas for assigned pharmaceutical products.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare organizations via virtual means.
• Present product information, clinical data, and value propositions effectively to healthcare professionals.
• Educate healthcare providers on the appropriate use and benefits of pharmaceutical offerings.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market penetration.
• Track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and forecast sales using the CRM system.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and therapeutic advancements.
• Participate in virtual team meetings, training sessions, and company events.
• Provide market feedback and insights to marketing and product development teams.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
