Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, sourcing decision makers, and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

This is a remote role within South Africa, reporting to the sales team and using tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit ambitious pipeline targets.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or similar
• Strong written communication and personalization
• Experience with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo) and Salesforce

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team
