Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an ambitious Sales Development Representative to join our South Africa team. You will own the top of the funnel, researching ideal accounts, reaching out to decision makers and booking discovery calls to drive pipeline for our SaaS and agency clients.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to craft personalized outreach, maintain your own pipeline, and collaborate with Account Executives to close opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role
• Ability to personalize outreach
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and feedback with the sales team.
