Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative across South Africa to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking discovery calls for our Account Executives.

Responsibilities include crafting personalized outbound sequences, maintaining accurate Salesforce/SalesLoft data, and continually testing messaging to improve targeting. Remote work within South Africa is offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline
• Gritty, curious and coachable

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team
