Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers for potential clients.

This remote role rewards strong written communication, 2 years in SDR/BDR, and experience with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo, plus Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a SDR/BDR role or similar
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach
• Familiarity with outbound tools (e.g., Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo)
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team
