Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Offshore Wind Farm Site Manager for a fully remote, international role overseeing planning, execution, and operation of offshore wind projects. Lead pre-construction surveys, foundation installation, turbine commissioning, and ongoing maintenance while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and project performance.

You will coordinate with global teams, manage logistics and contractors, and drive risk mitigation, reporting to senior management across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project or site management, with 5+ years in offshore wind or large-scale marine construction.
• Proven track record managing complex offshore construction projects from inception to operation.
• In-depth knowledge of offshore wind turbine technology, foundations, and installation methods.
• Strong HSEQ management knowledge for maritime environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and digital collaboration tools.
• Ability to work remotely in an international setting and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive site management plans for offshore wind farm projects.
• Oversee all construction activities including foundation installation, subsea cable laying, and turbine erection.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore logistics, vessel operations, and personnel movements.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environment and quality regulations and standards.
• Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and local communities.
• Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule, and mitigate risks and issues.
• Lead and motivate diverse project teams to maintain safety and high performance.
• Develop and implement robust operational and maintenance strategies for the wind farm.
• Liaise with engineering teams to resolve site-specific challenges.
• Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.
