Placements24 seeks a highly experienced Remote Wind Turbine Technician Lead to supervise a distributed team of technicians ensuring safe and reliable wind farm operations. The role focuses on remote coordination, troubleshooting, and optimizing turbine performance across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate will have extensive wind energy experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record in maintaining high safety standards while managing remote work effectively.

Formación

• Technical degree or certification in wind energy technology or related engineering field.
• 6+ years as a Wind Turbine Technician with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Extensive knowledge of wind turbine systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, control)
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex wind turbine faults.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage a remote team of wind turbine technicians, providing guidance and technical support.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies to maximize turbine availability and performance.
• Oversee routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor turbine performance data remotely and identify potential issues or areas for optimization.
• Coordinate with site managers and other stakeholders to address operational challenges.
• Manage spare parts inventory and resource allocation for maintenance activities.
• Train and mentor technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety excellence.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with wind turbines.
• Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repair reports accurately.
