Placements24 seeks an experienced Remote Offshore Wind Farm Operations Manager to lead the virtual team, optimize performance, and ensure safety and uptime for offshore wind assets. The role emphasizes remote monitoring, data analysis, and strategic planning with a strong focus on SCADA and predictive maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in wind operations, offshore exposure, and proven ability to manage remote teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in wind farm operations, offshore exposure.
Proven expertise in SCADA systems, data analysis, and condition monitoring.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day remote operations and performance of offshore wind farms.
Monitor wind turbine performance using SCADA systems and analytics tools.
Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and costs.
Coordinate with on-site maintenance teams, logistics, and tech support remotely.
Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations across all sites.
Manage budgets related to operations and maintenance for assigned wind farms.
Prepare regular performance reports and present findings to senior management.
Respond to operational incidents and emergencies, coordinating remote response efforts.
Drive continuous improvement in processes and technology adoption.
