Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 8+ years of specialized experience in geotechnical engineering, with offshore focus.
• Expertise in soil mechanics, foundation design for offshore structures, and numerical modeling.
• Proficiency in interpreting offshore geotechnical investigation data.
• Strong understanding of offshore wind project lifecycles and geotechnical challenges.
• Excellent report writing and communication for remote multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed geotechnical investigations and analyses for offshore wind farm development, including site characterization and risk assessment.
• Design and optimize foundation systems for offshore wind turbines, considering soil-structure interactions.
• Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports, specifications, and design documentation for project stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee and interpret data from CPT, boreholes, seismic surveys, and laboratory testing.
• Collaborate with structural, naval, and installation engineers to integrate geotechnical designs into the project plan.
• Manage geotechnical aspects of project execution, including contractor liaison and quality control during offshore campaigns and construction.
