Placements24 is seeking a proactive and experienced Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager to lead our monitoring and support team in Pretoria. This leadership role ensures the continuous availability and performance of our telecom network services, manages a team of NOC engineers, and oversees incident management processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/Networking or related field required.
• 5+ years in a NOC environment, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of NOC engineers to achieve uptime targets.
• Oversee daily NOC operations, monitoring, alerting and incident handling.
• Develop and refine NOC policies and change control procedures.
• Engage with vendors/service providers to resolve escalations promptly.
• Analyze performance metrics and drive continuous improvements.
• Document configurations and incident reports for Pretoria infrastructure.
