Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a vigilant and proactive Remote NOC Analyst to join our fully remote team. You will monitor a large telecommunications network, identify issues, and act as the first line of defense to ensure uptime and performance.

You will respond to alerts, troubleshoot, document incidents, and coordinate with engineering to resolve problems around the clock, while maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 1–3 years in network monitoring or IT support.
• Familiar with TCP/IP, SNMP and common network devices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, availability and security using monitoring tools.
• Respond to alerts, troubleshoot and perform initial diagnosis.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers with details.
• Document incidents, actions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Conduct routine checks and identify issues before they affect users.
• Communicate status updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
