About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and proactive Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to join their remote monitoring team. This is a fully remote position, offering the convenience of working from your home office. You will be responsible for monitoring the health and performance of our client's network infrastructure 24/7, identifying potential issues, and initiating response procedures to ensure maximum uptime and service availability. This role requires sharp analytical skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a deep understanding of network monitoring tools and protocols. You will be a crucial part of the team safeguarding the stability and reliability of our client's critical telecommunications services.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and security using advanced NOC tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix).
• Detect, diagnose, and respond to network alerts and incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform initial troubleshooting of network outages and performance degradation issues.
• Escalate critical incidents to appropriate engineering teams with detailed information and analysis.
• Maintain accurate records of all network events, actions taken, and resolutions in the incident management system.
• Participate in shift rotations to provide continuous monitoring coverage as required.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar IT support role.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and concepts.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and common network services.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, independent environment and communicate clearly via written and verbal channels.
