Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Recruitment Consultant specializing in the mining sector. This fully remote role manages end-to-end recruitment for mining operations across South Africa and beyond, from initial client brief to onboarding, leveraging advanced sourcing and market insights.

You will develop strong relationships with mining clients, screen and interview candidates, and drive successful placements while operating in a fully remote, flexible environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant in mining or related sectors.
• Experience managing remote recruitment processes and projects.
• Excellent sourcing, interviewing and candidate engagement abilities.
• Strong understanding of operational and technical mining requirements.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-disciplined, proactive and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle for mining sector roles, from junior to senior levels.
• Source passive and active candidates using advanced search techniques and networking.
• Conduct thorough candidate screening, interviewing, and assessment.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with mining industry clients.
• Provide expert market intelligence and recruitment solutions to clients.
