Job summary

OpsArmy is seeking a Mid-Market Sales Development Representative (SDR) to expand our reach in the Cape Town area. You will identify mid-market ecommerce and fintech prospects and conduct multi-channel outreach to generate qualified opportunities.

This contract-to-hire role starts with an outbound focus, with conversion to full-time after 3 months based on performance. You will work in a remote, fast-paced environment and collaborate closely with the sales team to optimise strategies.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a BDR/SDR or outbound sales role.
• Proven ability to build robust sales pipelines and consistently book meetings with VP+ level decision-makers.
• Strong understanding of sales funnel principles and lead qualification strategies.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills across written, verbal, and visual media.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and prospect into mid-market ecommerce and fintech accounts.
• Execute personalized email, phone, and social outreach to engage key decision-makers and generate qualified opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to align on target accounts, messaging, and strategy.
• Articulate OpsArmy's value proposition addressing specific business pain points.
• Maintain records of activities and manage your pipeline using provided tools.
• Stay updated on market trends and competitor activity in ecommerce and fintech.
