Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Production Process Engineer to join their innovative team, supporting operations primarily in Cape Town. The role is fully remote, focusing on design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes from anywhere.

You will use engineering principles and data analysis to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least five years of experience in process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of process engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with process simulation software (Aspen Plus or AnyLogic) and statistical tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify efficiency, cost, and quality improvements.
• Design and implement new production processes and technologies using simulation.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and control plans.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and operations for integration.
• Monitor process performance remotely using data analytics and adjust as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
