Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Manufacturing Process Analyst to join our virtual operations team. You will evaluate, optimize, and streamline manufacturing processes across sites using data analysis and remote collaboration.

The role requires a bachelor's in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or data analysis. You will apply lean, Six Sigma, and SPC with Excel, Python, and R in a remote-first setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, OR Operations Research
• 5+ years in manufacturing operations, process improvement, or data analysis
• Proven expertise in data analysis and process modeling software like Excel, Python, or R
• Strong knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, and SPC
• Excellent remote communication and ability to manage multiple projects remotely

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing data from different plants to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
• Develop detailed reports and presentations with data-driven recommendations to optimize production efficiency, cost, and quality
• Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes
• Collaborate remotely with on-site engineering and production teams to implement changes and monitor effectiveness
• Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and best practice guides
• Apply advanced analytics tools and statistical methods to support evaluation and decision-making
