Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting a Remote Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation and delivery operations from anywhere within South Africa. You will coordinate shipments, communicate with drivers and clients, and maintain accurate logistical records in a fast-paced virtual setting.

The ideal candidate will have prior logistics coordination experience, proficiency with logistics software, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics coordination or a similar administrative role.
• Proficiency with logistics software, order management systems, and general office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule transportation of goods, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.
• Track shipments using logistics software and provide real-time updates to customers and internal teams.
• Communicate effectively with drivers to provide instructions, monitor progress, and resolve issues.
• Process and manage shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers to address any logistical challenges or queries.
• Maintain organized digital records of all logistical activities and inventory movements.
