Placements24 is seeking a motivated Remote Logistics and Dispatch Specialist to join their virtual operations team in the Free State region of South Africa. This fully remote role focuses on coordinating shipments and ensuring smooth flow of goods from origin to destination.

You will manage dispatch communications, optimize routes, monitor progress, and support drivers with real-time updates while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, dispatch or related transportation roles.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Proficient with dispatch software and GPS tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the dispatch of goods, optimizing routes and schedules for drivers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing real-time support and updates.
• Monitor shipment progress and address delays or issues proactively.
• Process and verify shipping documents, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain records of dispatch activities and logistics data.
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners for smooth operations.
