Placements24 is seeking a Remote Fleet Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator to oversee transportation operations from a fully remote setup. You will coordinate daily fleet activities, optimize routes, and manage driver schedules while ensuring efficient cargo movement across regions, including Stellenbosch.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics coordination, dispatch, or fleet management.
• Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and other logistics management tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimize daily delivery routes and schedules for the fleet using specialized software.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and address any issues.
• Monitor fleet performance, tracking vehicle locations and delivery progress in real-time.
• Manage driver assignments, ensuring compliance with regulations and operational needs.
• Prepare reports on fleet efficiency, delivery times, and operational costs for management review.
