Placements24 is seeking a skilled Online Learning Platform Specialist to manage and optimize our digital learning environment. This fully remote role focuses on LMS administration, troubleshooting, and user training for a global student and educator community.

You will collaborate with instructional designers and IT teams to ensure a robust platform and accessible content, while developing documentation and training materials to continuously improve online learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, education, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of LMS administration and support.
• Strong understanding of web technologies and database management.
• Excellent communication and training/documentation skills.
• Experience with accessibility standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain the institution's Learning Management System (LMS).
• Provide technical support and training to faculty, staff, and students on LMS usage and other online learning tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the LMS and integrated educational applications.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to ensure content is effectively integrated and accessible within the LMS.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and course enrollments.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
• Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in online learning technologies and LMS administration.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of new educational technology tools.
• Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing the online learning experience and platform capabilities.
