Placements24 is seeking a visionary Remote Learning Experience Designer to craft engaging learning journeys for a global workforce. This fully remote role focuses on user-centric experiences, applying learning psychology and digital tools to create impactful environments.

You will collaborate with instructional designers, content creators, and technology specialists to shape innovative learning solutions and drive engagement across modalities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Education, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Learning Experience Design (LXD), Instructional Design, or UX Design with a focus on learning.
• Proven ability to design engaging and effective learning solutions for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with design thinking methodologies and user-centered design principles.
• Experience with rapid prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and wireframing.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory and cognitive psychology.
• Excellent visual design skills and an eye for aesthetics in digital interfaces.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating innovative learning experience designs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and conceptualize innovative learning experiences across modalities (digital, blended, experiential).
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and learning architectures to guide interventions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define learning goals and outcomes.
• Prototype and iterate on learning solutions, gathering feedback to refine designs.
• Integrate gamification, social learning, and performance support into learning designs.
• Oversee development and implementation of learning experiences, ensuring quality and impact.
• Conduct research on emerging trends in learning experience design and edtech.
• Create compelling visual designs and UI for digital platforms and content.
• Champion a user-centric approach to learning design within the organization.
• Evaluate effectiveness of learning experiences and make data-driven improvements.
