Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity. You will identify and implement improvements across manufacturing and operational processes to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.

You will use data analysis, lean methodologies, and Six Sigma to drive significant operational advancements, collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting business cases for proposed changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or operational excellence roles.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements and achieving measurable results.
• Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in process mapping, data analysis software, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders remotely.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing and business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Design, develop, and implement strategies and solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Utilize lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement tools.
• Conduct data analysis, performance monitoring, and root cause investigations for process-related issues.
• Develop and present business cases for proposed process improvements, including cost-benefit analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new processes and technologies.
