Collaborating with architects, PMs and other disciplines, you will drive execution, ensure compliance with codes (SANS), oversee modelling, load calculations, and BIM workflows, and manage multiple remote teams delivering outstanding

Qualifications

• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the structural design process from conception through to construction, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards.
• Conduct detailed structural analyses using advanced modeling software and perform load calculations for various structural elements.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of structural engineers and designers operating remotely.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in structural engineering, with a significant portion dedicated to leading design teams.
• Extensive knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and building information modeling (BIM).
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
• Strong understanding of material science, construction methods, and relevant building codes (e.g., SANS).
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is essential.
