Placements24 in South Africa invites a visionary Lead Process Design Engineer to spearhead our client’s process design initiatives within a fully remote framework. You will lead a team of engineers, set design standards, and ensure the technical integrity of projects from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate holds a master's or PhD in chemical engineering, 12+ years in process design, and proven success leading remote teams using Aspen Plus and CAD tools.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
• 12+ years of progressive process design experience; 3–5 years in leadership.
• Experience leading remote engineering teams and managing complex design projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead conceptual and detailed chemical process designs for scalable solutions.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
• Oversee process simulations, HAZOP studies, and risk assessments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to design teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project management, operations, and construction teams for project execution.
