The role demands strategic leadership, strong technical skills in Lean and Six Sigma, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a distributed organization, with Rustenburg as a base.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering with leadership experience.
• Expertise in operations management, process design, simulation, and statistical analysis.
• Lean Manufacturing; Six Sigma Black Belt certification desirable.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of industrial engineering projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Mentor and develop a team of industrial engineers, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
• Develop and implement advanced strategies for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Oversee the design and deployment of complex production systems and supply chain optimizations.
• Champion the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to drive innovation in operational processes.
• Present project findings, strategic recommendations, and performance metrics to senior management via virtual platforms.
