Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Industrial Engineer to drive operational excellence in a fully remote capacity. This senior role sets the strategic direction for process improvements, leads cross-functional teams, and mentors engineers to achieve substantial gains in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

The ideal candidate has a master’s in IE, 10+ years in industrial engineering with 3+ in leadership, and deep Lean/Six Sigma expertise.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and other process optimization methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead and manage remote teams and complex projects.
• Strong strategic planning, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the execution of the company's industrial engineering strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee and manage complex process improvement projects from conception to completion.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to a team of industrial engineers.
• Champion the adoption of advanced analytical tools, simulation, and automation technologies.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align engineering initiatives with business objectives.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor operational performance against benchmarks.
