Placements24 seeks a seasoned Lead Process Engineer to drive innovation and optimize industrial processes from a remote setup. You will guide a team of engineers, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across functions to deliver complex projects from conception to completion.

The role emphasizes process safety, design excellence, and environmental performance, with opportunities to shape technology and contribute to strategic goals across the Gauteng area and beyond, from your home office.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in process engineering within the oil and gas industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in process design, simulation, and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of process safety management (PSM) principles and standards.
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of industrial processes.
• Conduct process simulations, analyses, and troubleshooting to identify improvements.
• Develop and implement process safety measures and ensure standards compliance.
• Manage and mentor a team of process engineers, fostering growth and collaboration.
• Collaborate with project management, operations, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, P&IDs, and process documentation.
