Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Geotechnical or Mining Engineering.
- 10+ years geotechnical experience, mining-focused.
- Experience in automated/remote-controlled mining environments.
- Expertise in numerical modeling, rock mechanics, slope stability.
- Strong leadership, communication and project management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and application of geotechnical engineering principles for automated and remote-controlled mining systems.
- Design and implement advanced ground support and slope stability solutions for automated operations.
- Develop and oversee geotechnical monitoring programs using sensor technologies and data analytics.
- Collaborate with robotics and automation engineers to integrate geotechnical safety into automated workflows.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to a distributed team of geotechnical engineers.
