Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Design Engineer for a remote-first role. You will lead the design of large-scale electrical systems for renewable energy projects worldwide, guide a distributed team of engineers, and ensure high technical standards from concept to commissioning.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in electrical design, a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering with power systems, and proven remote leadership.
Qualificações
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a power systems focus.
- 10+ years of progressive electrical design engineering experience, with renewables.
- Experience leading remote engineering teams.
- Proficiency with PSS/E, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory or similar.
- Knowledge of global grid interconnection standards.
Responsabilidades
- Lead the design of large-scale electrical systems for solar, wind, and hybrid projects.
- Provide technical leadership to a global remote engineering team.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and equipment specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with international standards and grid codes.
