Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with leadership or senior technical role.
- Proven experience leading and managing remote engineering teams.
- Deep expertise in power electronics, renewable energy systems (solar, wind, battery storage), or related fields.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
- Proficiency with simulation and design tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, Altium Designer).
- Excellent understanding of project management principles and agile methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team of electrical engineers, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of electrical system design, from concept and feasibility studies to detailed design, prototyping, testing, and production.
- Drive innovation by exploring and integrating new electrical technologies and methodologies.
- Ensure the technical integrity, quality, and safety of all electrical designs, adhering to international standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets for electrical engineering initiatives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and design guidelines.
- Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Contribute to strategic planning and road mapping for the electrical engineering department.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide expert technical guidance.
