The role demands a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with power systems specialization and at least 8 years of experience in grid-tied projects.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on grid integration of renewable energy projects.
• Experience with utility-scale solar PV, wind, or battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• In-depth knowledge of grid codes, interconnection standards, and power system analysis techniques.
• Proficiency with power system simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD, CYME).
• Leadership and remote collaboration skills; PE license desirable.

Aufgaben

• Lead the electrical design and engineering for grid-tied renewable energy and energy storage projects.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and grounding designs.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant international grid codes, interconnection requirements, and local regulations.
• Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit, stability, and protection coordination analysis.
• Select and specify major electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, inverters, and protection relays.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior electrical engineers on the team.
• Review vendor documentation and manage technical aspects of equipment procurement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical engineering challenges related to grid integration and system performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design standards, tools, and methodologies.
