Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• At least 10 years of experience in electrical engineering with grid integration focus.
• Experience with power system simulation software (PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory DIgSILENT).

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and development of electrical systems for grid interconnection of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery storage).
• Develop and validate grid interconnection studies, including power system modeling, stability analysis, and fault current calculations using advanced software.
• Define technical specifications for grid connection equipment, protection schemes, and control systems.
• Provide expert technical direction to project teams and clients on grid code compliance and interconnection requirements.
• Oversee technical review of designs submitted by external consultants and contractors.
• Stay abreast of evolving grid codes, industry standards, and emerging technologies in power systems engineering.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Prepare high-level technical reports, presentations, and proposals for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
