Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Curriculum Developer for Early Childhood Education to design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool and early elementary learners. You will guide the curriculum development process and oversee learning materials, assessment tools, and program guidelines to inspire curiosity and lifelong learning.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive curriculum design expertise, and deep understanding of child psychology.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 3 years in curriculum development and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of developmental psychology and early learning theories.
• Proven ability to design and implement effective early childhood curricula.
• Experience with various assessment methods for young children.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive early childhood curriculum framework.
• Create age-appropriate learning objectives, activities, and resources for various developmental stages.
• Develop assessment strategies and tools to monitor children's progress and inform instructional decisions.
• Collaborate with early childhood educators, specialists, and stakeholders to ensure curriculum relevance and effectiveness.
• Research and integrate current theories and best practices in early childhood education into the curriculum.
• Train and mentor curriculum development team members and educators on curriculum implementation.
• Oversee the review and revision process for existing curriculum materials to ensure they remain current and effective.
• Ensure compliance with relevant educational standards and regulatory requirements.
