Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented Remote Early Childhood Curriculum Developer to design engaging curriculum content for young learners, aligning with developmental milestones and best practices. This fully remote role offers flexibility and the chance to influence education across age groups.

You will collaborate with educators and consultants, create lesson plans, worksheets, and digital resources, and manage projects to deadlines from any location with reliable internet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• 5+ years of curriculum development experience in early childhood settings, preferably with remote project management.
• Strong understanding of child development, learning theories, and instructional design principles.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for content creation and collaboration (Google Workspace, LMS).
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Experience in creating blended or digital learning resources is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and write comprehensive early childhood curriculum frameworks and lesson plans.
• Create engaging and age-appropriate learning activities, including worksheets and digital content.
• Research and integrate current best practices and pedagogical approaches in early childhood education.
• Ensure curriculum content aligns with developmental milestones and educational standards.
• Collaborate virtually with subject matter experts, illustrators, and consultants.
• Develop assessment tools and strategies to measure learning outcomes.
• Adapt and revise existing curriculum materials based on feedback and evaluation.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables for curriculum development initiatives, working independently from Mossel Bay or any other remote location.
• Ensure all content is culturally sensitive and inclusive.
