Formación

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of curriculum development experience with a focus on early childhood.
• Proven experience in leading teams of educators or curriculum specialists.
• In-depth knowledge of early childhood development theories, pedagogy, and assessment methods.
• Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• Proficiency in curriculum design software and digital learning platforms is an advantage.
• Experience working within the South African educational context is preferred.
• Passion for improving early childhood learning experiences.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, development, and refinement of early childhood education curriculum, focusing on play-based learning, cognitive development, and social-emotional growth.
• Oversee and guide a team of curriculum developers and subject matter experts.
• Ensure all curriculum materials are aligned with national educational standards and best practices in early childhood pedagogy.
• Conduct research on emerging trends and research in early childhood education to inform curriculum development.
• Develop assessment strategies and tools to monitor student progress and evaluate curriculum effectiveness.
• Provide training and support to educators on the implementation of new curriculum frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including parents, administrators, and external partners, to ensure curriculum relevance and impact.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for curriculum development initiatives.
• Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the curriculum development team.
