Develop, implement, and oversee robust policies, ensuring compliance with FICA, POPIA, and banking laws, while driving AML/KYC initiatives and governance across the organization.

The role requires 8+ years in compliance, strong analytical and communication skills, and a track record of independent, remote work in financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree or professional compliance certification preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of FICA, POPIA, AML/KYC and fraud prevention.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work remotely.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and internal audits to identify gaps and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor regulatory changes and provide timely guidance for readiness.
• Investigate potential compliance breaches and recommend disciplinary actions.
• Deliver compliance training programs to employees at all levels.
• Liaise with regulators and external auditors during inspections.
• Oversee AML and KYC procedures implementation.
