Placements24 is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead the organization's compliance program in a fully remote SA team. You will develop policies, conduct risk assessments, manage audits, and advise stakeholders on regulatory adherence across FAIS, FICA, and POPIA.

The role demands 7+ years in compliance or regulatory affairs, a Master's degree, and strong leadership, with the ability to drive a culture of ethical conduct in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs, preferably in financial services.
• Deep understanding of SA financial regs (FAIS, FICA, POPIA) and international best practices.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and remote-communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the organization's overall compliance program.
