Placements24 seeks a Lead Civil Structural Engineer to oversee major infrastructure projects in a highly remote, globally distributed team. You will provide expert technical guidance, ensure safety and durability, and mentor engineers across locations.

The role emphasizes leadership, advanced analysis, and collaboration with clients and project managers to deliver complex designs and construction documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Civil Structural Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering, focused on infrastructure.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage remote project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design process for large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
• Perform advanced structural analysis and calculations using state-of-the-art software.
• Develop and review detailed structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Mentor and guide junior structural engineers, supporting their technical development.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other disciplines to meet project objectives.
• Conduct design reviews, provide remote site support during construction, and resolve complex issues.
