Placements24 is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to serve as an Infrastructure Design Lead, operating remotely. This senior role leads the design process for major civil projects, mentors a distributed team, and sets design standards to deliver sustainable, innovative solutions.

You will collaborate with project managers, clients, and regulators across geographies, review designs and technical docs, and drive high-level engineering excellence from a home office.

Qualifications

• Pr.Eng registration with ECSA or equivalent.
• 12+ years of progressive civil design and leadership experience.
• Proven remote team leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of major civil infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, site development).
• Mentor a distributed team of civil engineers and designers.
• Develop and implement design best practices, quality controls and standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients and regulators for project success.
• Review and approve engineering designs, calculations and documentation.
