Placements24 is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer - Infrastructure to lead major civil projects from a remote setting. The role demands exceptional technical leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of large-scale infrastructure development.

You will guide design teams, set technical standards, and ensure successful delivery from inception to completion while coordinating with dispersed teams across national projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 12 years' experience in civil infrastructure with significant leadership.
• Pr. Eng designation is essential; PMP certification considered a plus.
• Proven expertise in complex project management, risk assessment and contract administration.
• Strong ability to lead, inspire and manage geographically dispersed teams with strategic vision.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical direction and leadership for major civil infrastructure projects including transportation, water, and land development.
• Oversee development and review of complex engineering designs ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams, fostering a collaborative remote work culture.
• Develop innovative engineering solutions and methodologies for complex project challenges and outcomes.
• Manage client relationships and stakeholder engagement with clear communication throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to business development with proposals and technical input for new projects.
