Placements24 is seeking an exceptional Lead Blockchain Engineer to spearhead development from a fully remote setting. You will design, develop, and implement blockchain solutions for a growing Crypto & Blockchain product portfolio, leading a talented team and defining the technical strategy.

This role emphasizes security, scalability, and innovative architecture. You will mentor engineers, set coding standards, collaborate with product management on roadmaps, and oversee smart contracts

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with blockchain focus.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams and complex projects.
• Deep knowledge of blockchain protocols, consensus algorithms and smart contracts (Solidity, Rust).
• Strong distributed systems, cryptography and system architecture skills.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture, and implementation of blockchain platforms and decentralized apps.
• Mentor and manage a blockchain engineering team.
• Define coding standards, best practices, and development processes.
• Collaborate with product management to define requirements and roadmaps.
• Oversee deployment of smart contracts with a focus on security and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across blockchain infrastructure.
