Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Blockchain Engineer to spearhead our blockchain initiatives in a fully remote role. You will guide a team of developers, architect scalable and secure decentralized solutions, and set technical direction for crypto products.

The role demands deep knowledge of blockchain platforms, smart contracts, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure, with a track record of leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years in blockchain tech.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
• Deep understanding of blockchain platforms, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.
• Proficiency in Solidity, Go, Rust, and Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of complex blockchain projects from concept to completion.
• Mentor and manage a team of blockchain developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for blockchain development.
• Collaborate with product management to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee the integration of smart contracts, dApps, and other blockchain components.
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of all blockchain solutions, staying ahead of crypto threats.
