Hyremote LLC in South Africa is seeking an IT Support professional to join a leading MSP-focused team. You will provide frontline IT support via voice and chat for general users and VIPs, troubleshoot AD/DNS, manage Windows Servers, and handle account provisioning, printer setup, and Office 365 configuration.
The role emphasizes collaboration, reliability, and a proactive approach to IT support. This is a full-time, remote-friendly position with a strong team culture and regular salary payments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in an IT support role (MSP preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and core networking concepts (LAN/WAN/VPN).
- Experience with Windows Server administration, DNS, and file recovery.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ConnectWise or similar tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide IT support via voice and chat for general users and VIPs.
- Troubleshoot issues in Helpdesk, AD, and DNS.
- Manage Windows Servers and use ConnectWise or similar systems.
- Handle user creation/termination and software installations.
- Set up printers and resolve connectivity issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot Office 365 and Office apps.
- Recover files locally and in the cloud.
- Respond to compromised email accounts and assist with recovery.
- Set up drive mappings and manage network access.
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi and network outages.
