Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Technical Support Agent to join our distributed support team. You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, providing clear, patient guidance to users from anywhere.

You will use remote tools and ticketing systems, maintain documentation, and escalate when needed. A home office with reliable internet and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical support or helpdesk role, preferably remote.
• Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and network troubleshooting.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote access tools.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly.
• Install, configure, and maintain user workstations and peripherals.
• Create and update technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate IT teams while maintaining ownership of resolution.
• Provide proactive IT support and guidance to enhance user productivity and system stability.
