Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a specialized IT Recruitment Specialist focused on Cloud Computing and DevOps roles. You will source, screen, and place IT professionals including Cloud Architects, DevOps Engineers, and SREs, leveraging strong networks and platforms.

This fully remote role offers autonomy and exposure to niche markets in Randburg, Gauteng, with opportunities to become a subject matter expert and to drive hiring for clients across the region and beyond.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of IT recruitment experience with emphasis on Cloud/DevOps roles.
• Solid understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP and DevOps practices.
• Strong sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
• Knowledge of SA IT job market in Randburg is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified IT professionals for Cloud and DevOps positions.
• Conduct technical and behavioural interviews to assess candidates.
• Build and maintain relationships with IT candidates throughout the process.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand project requirements.
• Manage full lifecycle from brief to offer and acceptance.
• Develop recruitment strategies for niche markets and emerging tech.
