About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Remotely manage, monitor, and maintain server infrastructure (physical and virtual).

• Support and manage cloud-based services and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Perform regular system updates, patch management, and security vulnerability assessments.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Technician, System Administrator, or Network Engineer in a remote or support role.
• Strong knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms.
• Expertise in network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall management.
• Proficiency with remote management tools, monitoring software, and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
• Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• A stable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, secure home office setup.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are highly advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
